We  are excited to welcome LORENZO SANTOS to our December Kenosha Drinking  Liberally gathering on Wednesday, December 13 at 6:00pm at Union Park  Tavern.

Lorenzo Santos is a candidate for US Congress, for the 1st District of Wisconsin.

Lorenzo  Santos is a 2013 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, earning a  Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a concentration in  International Relations. He served in active duty in the Navy as a  Surface Warfare Officer on the guided missile destroyer, USS Oscar  Austin (DDG 79). In 2016, after leaving the Navy, he founded Rhetor  News, an online media startup with a focus on solving the issue of news  deserts in the US and the world. From 2017-2021, Lorenzo was the North  Central Regional Sales Manager for HVAC and Hearth manufacturer DuraVent  Group. He led their sales operations in the Midwest. Lorenzo earned his  Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security at The George  Washington University in 2022.

The  issues and policies Lorenzo plans to fight for in Congress include--  Reproductive Rights; Voting Rights; Healthcare; Education; Jobs and  Manufacturing; Climate Change; National Security and Foreign Policy; and  Gun Control.
